It’s not just everyone who is determining to utilise power from the sun. Championship football team Barnsley have announced actually to install photovoltaic solar panels upon two stands of their ground. This makes them the first major club to be completely solar powered.

The £1million project will earn enough electricity to power 140 homes all of which will save the club tens of thousands of pounds per year. It is also implemented being an extra income supply, every some other energy generated may be offered for sale returning to the National Grid.
